The Hands and Feet Initiative has been bringing teams of Presbyterians from all over the country to St. Louis over the last year to engage in ministry with the Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy and making sure that the General Assembly has reach beyond just one week in June. We will celebrate the accomplishments of the last year and help prepare for the new stage of Hands and Feet for the next General Assembly, hosted by the Presbytery of Baltimore.

Kirk Whalum and his combo will be bringing his distinctive jazz style to the celebration, featuring his growing release of music he calls “The Gospel According to Jazz”. You can get a glimpse of him performing on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BufpnVP1A1U

Northern Trust Securities, the official investment advisors for the Presbyterian Foundation, has made a very generous gift to fund Kirk Whalum’s performance which will allow funds generated by ticket prices and offerings to go to support the Hands and Feet Initiative that the Presbytery of Baltimore is already organizing.
